This is a great read about the marketing plan process, especially for VA start-ups. She really goes into some detail about the different elements of marketing and gives some good solid examples.
Great read about mindset and attraction. It was encouraging and inspiring to read about the ‘six-figure’ women she interviewed. If Six-Figures is one of your goals, you would find this an interesting read.

I’m sure we’d all agree that the world is definitely changing. On the national news last night they introduced me to the first graduating class of the recession. How encouraging? I also attended a Chamber event where the guest speaker spoke all about change and why it’s good for us to continue
I think we’ve all heard that people do business with us because they, ‘know, like, and trust’ us. For many, figuring out HOW to build relationships that lead to this, is far more difficult.
Many of you broke into a sweat after reading the title, didn’t you? Many people don’t have a marketing plan because they think it’s too hard, too time consuming, or they just don’t know where to start.
As an avid networker, both locally and in a number of online communities, I meet people in all career areas, and from many industries. I’m always surprised at how much we all have in common, whether we are entrepreneurs, work in the corporate world, or are just not working at all, for any number of reasons.
When I was young, our family spent time at a secluded lake house. I recall sneaking off to a hidden spot where someone had built a cool tree house. To get to the main part of this ingenious tree house, you had to cross a 30-foot rope bridge strung between two trees, about 25-feet off the ground. I didn’t for an instant consider the danger it posed
